... y sad? oh pls oh pls dont b ...
last nyt was CMMA nyt and we won. 4 awards!!! we got Best Radio Drama, Best Radio Counselling, a Citation for Mom's Radio, and this time around, a Citation for SBN. Thou we didnt get the Best Educational this year (and we didnt make it to the Hall of Fame) i believe this still calls for a celebration.
But this morning, it felt weird in the office. Its like we lost or sumthing. everyone was like sad... which also saddened me. gusto ko sumigaw knina and sabihin hey! we won! but i was not able to do that. simply because the atmosphere is really more of like a mourning one.i guess its because of that nga, we didnt get the hall of fame stuff. but hey, we got a citation for the company, which is sumthing, really sumthing.
i dont get it. i know we lost in a way, but yes, we won.
4 awards. the most so far.
and the citation for the company is reallllly sumthing really really nice!
and i guess dapat un ang tingnan natin.
God is good. He is always with us.
These recognitions are only bonuses of the things we have been sharing with the industry and community. As long as we are one with our advocacy, we will be fine. These awards will just be testimoies and proofs. But even without these, we should be fine. And we should be happy.
To my team mates, to my 2nd family, congratulations.
Pls dont be sad. Remember, we won!!!
Let us also remember, there are messages in all these.
Obviously, we are challenged to do better. and to innovate more.
another would be, to be more aggressive, or sensitive to look out for possible threats and do something about it.
But the message that i got from all these is sumthing like a prophecy that happened to me last nyt while i was taking a shower before going to sleep. It has been a while since the last time i did this. And i did not ask God why we lost. I asked Him how i can help my team mates appreciate more the victory and be grateful for it.
Im not sure how others would take it, but here it goes:
An advocacy is something like a sacrifice.
It entails a lot of hardwork, patience, and dedication.
Moving people is like giving a part of u to others.
Educating them is like sharing His gift of wisdom.
Inspiring them is like making the most out of their craft and skills.
Empowering them is like working for the army of God.
Our advocacy is a strong one.
Its like a revolution in the industry.
And the community and society as well.
We are talking about lives here.
About values. About truth. About real issues and concerns.
About us.
No recognition can ever contain it.
It is never a competition among others but a never ending process of change within. The only indication of its success is when people change,
when they start affecting the community, and uniting the country.
It needs no hall of fame, no star appeal, no great recognition from other bodies.
But only His blessing and guidance.
And the promise that He shall never leave us and will continue to be one with us, and our advocacy.
