... wanna remix? ...
Go Paris!
dig this! soooo nice remix of paris hilton's turn it up! its now airing at BED site. nice one cheezy aka stiteroz. its really kewl, there are like a dozen remixes of this single! this one is the best! download it here:
last week, archie and i had an invitation to a beach party @ subic. some BED people will be there as well. we were excited and so we waited for the confirmation. it was already saturday morning when they txted us the go signal. we were having a super late (3am) cofi break then @ Starbux Blue Wave. we agreed to rest muna then decide if were going or not when we wake up. it was 12noon when we decided to just hit the gym and forget abt the beach party. it was raining so hard and we thot that we'll just end up getting bored or sumthing kaya ayun. but when we met, nung sinundo nko ni archie, tpos sinundo na namin si M, nagiba ihip ng hangin. GO SUBIC! time pressure itoh: 4pm ang call time sa victory liner espana. 230pm na nun. we had to change and all, coz we were on our gym outfits pa. plus had to impake and stuff. we met after an hour and bad trip si manong driver ng taxi. super taga ang metro! as in! almost 300 from our place to mrt taft pa lang! i called his attention kasi sobrang taas. told him its not fair and demanded that he stops it. i even showed him my media card. ayun, he told us afterwards that we can pay him whatever is just. gave him 300 when we reached Espana. badtrip. kainis. sometimes kc kala nila porke were all jolly and all e mauuto nya kmi. anyways... pagdating nmin dun, the other guys were there na. dont ask kung may mga keri. ask archie. or M. ayoko maging rude. lol! ayun, enjoy naman sa bus ride. asaran kming 3. si M got bored kc napalayo sya sa amin. so we had to txt him whenever there's something going on. pagdating sa beach party, it was literally a beach party. there was a beach, and there was a party. and thats it. so the big question was, wer r we gonna stay? ayun, hanapin daw ang big tent! we were like "WHAT?" in my head, i wanted to go home. it was stormy, and we'll be staying daw sa tent. hay. i drank a lot. and there, i was able to mingle with some locals. some good guy (but is actually manyakis) offered his place para mkapagpahinga kmi ng maayos. ayaw na nga sana namin. we were about to get a room or sumthing but they insisted that we stay with them. ayun, nakisama naman kmi. it was really boring. buti na lang we had good sense of humor. otherwise, nabuang na tlga kmi. the nex day, we had lunch sa place nung celebrant. even that, im really sorry, was bad. ugh! we hurried to the terminal after that. went straight to Mall of Asia, mga 6pm na un. Keber kung beach outfit kmi hahahaha! at least, we had nice dinner @ Chef d Angelo and saw a lot of nice people. stayed there till 9ish. whew!
best times: peeping @ those drunk guys @ the beach worst time: sleeping with a very hard pillow
here are some pics:
kurt, me, archie, and M taken by jim @ the kubo which was a nice voyeur spot
jayd, archie, m taken by M the moment we arrived @ the beach

... How to Answer the Toughest Interview Questions ...
for all u jobhunters... mua!
How to Answer the Toughest Interview Questions By Caroline Levchuck
You know they're coming: Those seemingly unanswerable questions that pop up during job interviews.
You can't clam up. And you don't want to stutter and stammer. So what's a job seeker to do?
The 'Future' Question
Otherwise known as the "big picture" question, the future question goes something like this: "Where do you see yourself in five years?"
The best tactic: Talk about your values.
Don't get too detailed about your specific career plan. Instead, discuss things that are important to you professionally and how you plan to achieve them. If growth is a goal, mention that. You can also talk about challenge, another value that employers prize in their employees.
The 'Salary' Question
Most people will tell you that whoever answers this question first loses. But that's not necessarily true.
When an interviewer asks your salary requirement, try first to gently deflect the question by inquiring about the salary for the position.
If the interviewer presses you for a number, give a range. To decide on a range, think about the salary you want, your salary at your most recent position and the industry-standard salary for the job.
The bottom line: The salary question is one of the most important, so you should prepare for it in advance and plan what to say.
The 'Why' Question
There's a fine line between boastful and confident. And you need to learn it.
When an interviewer asks you why they should hire you, you're going to have speak confidently and honestly about your abilities. But you should avoid sounding overly boastful.
Aim for earnest and prepare by practicing. That's right: Stand in front of the mirror and acknowledge your abilities and accomplishments to your reflection. Tell yourself: I have a very strong work ethic. I have integrity. I have excellent industry contacts. I aggressively pursue my goals.
It's sometimes hard to praise yourself, but after a few sessions you'll sound sincere.
The Seemingly Silly Question
If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? What if you were a car? Or an animal?
These type of questions can bring your interview to a screeching halt.
First, don't panic. Pause and take a deep breath. Then remind yourself that there's no "right" answer to these questions. The job isn't hinging on whether you choose to be a spruce versus an oak.
Interviewers usually ask these questions to see how you react under pressure and how well you handle the unexpected. It's not so important what type of tree (or car, or animal) you choose as that you explain your choice in a way that makes you look favorable.
So, be a spruce -- because you want to reach new heights in your career. Or be an oak -- because you plan to put down roots at the company. Either way, you'll get it right.

"Call center" Mataas na sweldo, magaan na trabaho, no age limit at hindi rin kailangang college graduate. Ang tanging requirement, ganda ng boses at galing sa pagsasalita. 'Ika nga ng iba, "in" ka kapag nasa call center ka. Pero paano kung ang kapalit ng magadnang sweldo at iba't ibang benepisyo, ay ang kanilang kalusugan at kaligtasan?
That is the article at abs-cbsnews.com about their feature in The Correspondents about call centers and their employees.
Sad to say, Gigi Grande and the producers who conceptualized the said episode was not able to capture the truth behind call centers and their employees.
magaan na trabaho -- this is a misconception that a lot of people have about call centers. this is work, serious work and not playtime. as call center agents we are the frontliners of some of the biggest companies around the world. we handle their first line of defense for their businnes, Customer Service. we Filipinos who work in call centers represent these companies to their consumers and we filipinos can spell the success or downfall of these business just on how we deal with their consumers 24/7 and that is not an easy task. the reason why call centers thrive in the philippines is because filipinos have good customer service skills. we are professional workers and we give everything a 100%. i salute all the call center employees who make this feat possible. it means jobs and job security to the filipinos who wanted to work in their own country.
no age limit -- because call centers are equal opportunity employers. they do not set limitations to people's ability to work. it is only here in the philippines where we put an age limit to applications. it really does not matter what age the applicant is as long as they can still deliver quality performance. it is called diversity.
hindi rin kailangang college graduate - for cheap call centers maybe, not for the big ones. we encourage our applicants to finish college first before applying. they may also be assisted through schedule requests if they want to continue studying while still employed.
Ang tanging requirement, ganda ng boses at galing sa pagsasalita -- for radio stations yes. not for call center. we are not DJs. we also require high IQ and intelligence in call centers. For example, Wil Ison, the 24 yo manager who was featured in The Correpondents. You did not even applaude him for reaching that position in such a young age. if he was employed in a bank, he will only become a manager if he kissed enough bossess ass or because he is already 50 years old. People like Wil were promoted because they are good employees. Most of the call centers have internal application processes that enables the employees to apply for higher position highliting their performance and capabilities and not who their friends are and whose ass they just wiped.
'Ika nga ng iba, "in" ka kapag nasa call center ka. - this is not a fad. we are working, we pay our taxes, we are productive citizens of this country. we chose to stay and earn here in our own country rather than go abroad and contribute to the brain drain. we earn a lot beacuse we work hard. we are thankful for the good education we were provided by our parents that gave us the competencies we have now. we are working for multinational companies and we get promoted. most of us 21-30 years old and we are managers, supervisors and senior managers.
we may not be doctors or lawyers but at least we are not corrupt. we are productive and we make sure that our families and our future families will not be included with the uneducated, paid rallyists in EDSA, who do not even understand why they are there. we are not a burden to the government, they should even be thankful because it is our tax, the middle class tax, that makes it possible for the Philippines to stay alive.
instead of potraying us as obese, smoking insomiacs....why not thank us? applaude our achievements, be proud that we are very good with what we do that's why investors come in to the philippines. ask the government to provide security to the employees who have different schedules from the normal 9-5 workers? ask them to take care of us and in return we will work harder, show the companies that it is worth investing in the philippines, we will continue to pay our taxes and slowly but surely help our country progress.
